WE arrived yesterday sleepy but happy to be on our way. After picking up minivans , we headed to the hotel to have breakfast and wait for rooms. The hotel gave us the meeting room to eat and hang out which turned out to be perfect! We ate breakfast for free( of course it turns out there is a waffle house next door) played the infamous name game and had several great games of hangman while we waited for rain to subside.
Made our trip to WalMart , had lunch at Chick-fil-a and then we all headed into the city . The kids had about an hour to wander around, listen to honky tonk and then we all met to do line dancing at the Wildhorse Saloon. Actually great fun! I will post photos later as we need to go in search of a USB connector for Susan's camera. We then went to Rippy's for BBQ dinner and more music.
We headed "home" and collapsed !
Slept like babies:)
Deb and I are taking a car load to see Vanderbilt U this morning while everyone else slowly wakes.
WE will head to Morgan County round 11:30.
